At Reader's Workshop we have a station called Work on Writing. We encourage the children to create their own writing topics and messages. They just love the freedom and creativity it encourages!!

| We are totally into writing letters to each other!! This one says, "Dear Class, I love you very much. All of you are invited to my birthday party." Isn't that just the sweetest thing?? |

| And on our dry erase board called, "Little Daddy" here's a message that says, "Dear Class, I love you. Queen Hicks you are my guest. Love, Queen Hicks." The caption of me going down the slide says, Wheeeee!" Don't you just love the creative spelling especially when they don't know how to write that word yet?? Finally the bottom says, "Guess who I am?" Adorable!! |
